January + Instagram

January is always slow for photos, but that dosen’t mean I’ve stopped working. I like the slow season because I have time to be creative in other areas of my life. I’ve been cooking vegetables, knitting, sewing, hula hooping and practicing yoga and calligraphy. Its kind of a lot when I sit back and look at it, but there is still so much I want to do! I’m very excited about the busy season this year. I am working with couples that I really like, and I am really trying to challenge myself and grow. I know I should hate instagram on principal because I am a photographer, but I don’t. I really like that it encourages people to take more photos. I love following people and seeing the world through someone else’s eyes. Follow me on instagram! @katiegandyawesome

Easter

This is my Easter dinner photo. Everything in the photo reminds me of something from that day, and this has really got me thinking about photography. Why do we like the photographs that we do?

Georgetown fishermen

The season closed this week, so I will get a little break from fisheries. BUT we have big plans for the future. Can’t wait until May when it opens again!
